Hi all! It's been a while since my last update and life has been throwing me for a loop.

Most recently, my mom's cat, Prince (favorite #1 son), had to be rushed to the emergency vet due to heart failure. My mom is on a very limited income and my own recent upheavals have made this quite the challenge. I created a GoFundMe to help her pay down the ER bill (over $6k) while we work through the on-going costs of Prince's care until the unfortunate day comes.

Hi y’all! 👋🏻

Long time no post. All I can say is the summer was long and eventful, and not always in a good way. Life has been life-ing and I’ve been struggling with what to post. To be real, I haven’t been in the best mental state, and I haven’t wanted to edit the clips I recorded for fear they’d take me back to that place. I’m healing, in my own way, and coming to terms with factors beyond my control that have had a very real effect on my work life. I also had Covid(!), injured my eye, and strained my neck (again). So physical healing has also been a priority. My energy is still not quite what it was in June, but I’m starting to get back to some sense of normalcy. That said, I’m scaling back and focusing on writing because I need to get this draft finished and book 2 edited for betas. My timeline for publication has shifted as all result of my health and subsequent delays, but I’m trying to be gentle with myself.

All this to say, I’m taking a hiatus and hope to be back later this fall. Fall and winter are when I thrive and I’m looking forward to the change in weather (from hot hot to just normal hot and maybe even cool days 🤞🏻).
