Tonight, a beautiful starry night run and prayer.

Just a reminder, we can turn to life giving things when we are weary that gives TRUE rest. Exhaust the body to tame the mind.

I have been attacked a lot the last few months, which is to be expected on a public platform. Most want to know who I think I am... It got me thinking of this great reminder from Neil T Anderson about our identity in Christ... So this is who I think we are.
I am the salt of the earth (Matt. 5:13)
I am the light of the world (Matt. 5:14)
I am a child of God (John 1:12)
I am a part of the true vine, a channel of Christ's life (John 15:1,5)
I am Christ's friend (John 15:15)
I am chosen and appointed by Christ to bear His fruit (John 15:16)
I am a slave of righteousness (Rom. 6:8)
I am enslaved to God (Rom. 6:22)
I am a son of God; God is spiritually my Father (Rom. 8:14,15; Gal. 3:26; 4:6)
I am a joint heir with Christ, sharing His inheritance with Him (Rom. 8:17)

Struggling to have consistent quiet time with God?
Try these simple tricks
1. Make it simple: consistency is better than quantity.
2. Pick the time: When we leave it open-ended, we miss it!
3. Limit distractions: This is why I do it before anyone is awake in my house.
4. Make it enjoyable: Favorite coffee, blanket, sit by a fire, or your favorite chair. We do what we enjoy.

Tonight, I was going through all the prayer requests on the different videos that I made. I was praying over them again. I was reminded of our victory in Christ and overwhelmed with gratitude for YOU. I'm amazed how God can use our worst moments for His glory.
