Physical media was supposed to disappear.
But somehow, I’m still using cassette tapes, VHS, Beta, S-VHS, Hi8, Betacam SP, CDs, vinyl, floppies, Commodore data cassettes, and 10.5-inch 15 IPS open reel tape.
This week’s episode is a tour through the old formats I still use, why they mattered, and why obsolete does not always mean unimportant.
New episode drops Wednesday at 2 PM Central.

Have a look at this old PC. What era do you think it's from simply by looking at it? DOS/Windows 3.1? Windows 95? Windows 98? Windows Me? XP? Vista? LEAVE YOUR GUESSES IN THE COMMENTS! The optical drive looks like it was swapped at some point, so don't use that as a dating tool. It's going on the bench this week and should be featured in one of the first videos of 2026, so be watching! It may.... or may not.... surprise you! We'll see who guessed correctly soon!
