I truly understood the real meaning of “Suyambu” only after witnessing this Amma, who is located so close to my home. From my very childhood, this temple has been a part of my life and holds countless precious memories in my heart.

I still remember walking to this temple holding my mother’s fingers, singing songs for Amma, and visiting during every special occasion year after year. So many memories — before marriage and after marriage — are deeply connected to this divine place.

When I first saw Amma as a child, she was very, very small. But today, Amma has grown nearly four feet, and witnessing this divine growth itself feels miraculous. Anyone from this area would definitely have seen how Amma has grown over the years. Along with her growth, this entire place has developed enormously beyond words.

For all of us, she has always been a protective goddess, showering her blessings in every possible way throughout our lives. This is the very special Suyambu Durgiamman Temple located in Chromepet. If anyone truly wants to understand the meaning of Suyambu, this temple is something you should definitely visit.

I usually don’t watch many movies, but when a movie carries a meaningful message, I make time for it. Recently, I watched one such movie that truly touched my heart.

The movie beautifully explains that real freedom for a woman is not just living however she wants, but having financial independence. Financial independence gives a woman respect in society, the confidence to face life, and the courage to stand strong even when life changes unexpectedly.

Women are natural multitaskers. They can be a loving wife, a caring daughter, a responsible mother, and still build a career and support others. True independence means living with purpose and becoming a role model for the next generation.

When women start growing in life, there will always be people who try to pull them down by questioning their character or spreading negative words about how they grew or what they did. These words are often used only to discourage and stop them.

But to all women—please don’t stop and don’t give up. Continue doing the good you believe in and become an inspiration for others.

This movie left a deep impact on my heart. My heartfelt appreciation to the entire team and especially to Radhika Sarathkumar for the wonderful performance.
