The focus is to enhance the properties of the biomaterials used (membrane, bone substitute) with a user-friendly bioactivator: a gel of cross-linked hyaluronic acid (xHyA) called Hyadent BG.

Hyadent BG is a gel that can be directly applied to the surgical site in the presence of blood. To enhance bone remodelling, Hyadent BG can be combined with bone graft material (e.g. Smartgraft), which stimulates new bone formation while resorbing the graft material and maintaining the volume. Hyadent BG contributes also to extending the presence of collagen membranes (e.g. Smartbrane) while providing a bacteriostatic shield and accelerating wound closure.
