Hippos don't just "like" water; they need it to keep their sensitive skin cool and hydrated. During the dry season, as water holes shrink, their instinct to protect their space becomes a matter of life or death.
Did you know..? Hippos can open its jaws up to 150 degrees and exert a bite force of 1,800 PSI. They don’t use these teeth to eat meat, but to crush anything that dares to enter their territory.
