Every niche making a wave today thrives because of one thing: its ability to leverage technology. This wasn’t so in Africa about 20 years ago, when we had no devices connected to the internet.
Whether it is fashion design, content creation, or real estate, your big break can come when you leverage technology and its platforms.
So, when you next hear about tech, don’t just think about the young boy writing Python code or the "tech sis" managing tech projects. You’re also part of the technological ecosystem when you can leverage it to scale and grow.
However, it doesn’t stop there. Technology is a tool, and you must not forget that. Learn to use it ethically and do not convert it into a negative vice.
I shared this and more at the Youth Business Conference, tagged Reflection. It was an honour to empower young and older people on how to leverage today’s opportunities that technology provides.

As a Human Capital Developer, I am always speaking to people.
The first time I was “officially” invited to speak at a gathering was about sixteen years ago.
Since then, I have had several sessions, and I have watched public speaking evolve from physical gatherings to virtual meetings.
Sometime last year, I went home and saw a book on effective public speaking that I bought about a decade ago, because I realized this was going to be a path for me, and I needed some sort of preparation.
I read it again, and trust me, all I can say is so much change has happened in the world of speaking.
But 3 things remain constant
1. Understanding your audience
2. Looking the part
3. Conveying value
It’s been a journey, but we’re just getting started.

I’ve always wished I were born with a custom-made manual on how to navigate my life… because why all this stress for a soft girlie like me?
Giving it a second thought, I learnt that the manual didn’t come with me because it was already here waiting for me. Call it rules, laws, or principles, I call it a playbook. Insert the coin and you'll receive the candy.
You and I don’t have so much time on earth for too many trials and errors. The wisest of us will learn from others' journeys.
That’s what this book is about.
If you’re not interested, it’s fine. I mean, not everyone values clarity and productivity.
But if your life is worth investing in. Then this is it.
Someone asked, Why is it free?
I’ve been confused before, while sitting on a lot of potential, so I know how sickening it can be. If helping my world gain clarity is all I do. Then it’s a worthy course. It’s my contribution to humanity.
