Health Is Wealth 👍

Sometimes we can confuse selfishness with self-care, or feel guilty for taking care of ourselves.

Self-care isn’t selfish… and selfishness isn’t self-care.

I had to learn this.

But this word is for someone who may be feeling guilty and depleted.

And so I pray, Lord help you take care of yourself without guilt, and give you the strength and motivation to take care of yourself.

I declare you are being restored mind, body, and spirit.

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” — 3 John 1:2 (NKJV)

Like Elijah, who was overwhelmed but God instructed him to take time to rest, eat, and regain his strength before moving forward because He cared about him, I believe God cares about our wellbeing too (1 Kings 19:5–8). ❤️

God has been strengthening me in ways I didn’t even realize I needed. And I’m learning to lean on Him more each day.
