Hi guys. Tomorrow is a city council vote in Farmers Branch, Texas to approve card rooms. If you are local to the area, we’d love for you to come show your support for card room poker at this city council vote. At our Round Rock location, we employ 200+ people who do an incredible job in creating the happiest card club that I've ever been to. Together we broadcast multiple times a week to a worldwide audience. And we'd love to do more of the above in Farmers Branch while helping to develop the economics of the region.
The council vote takes place on Tuesday, May 7th at 6pm, at Farmers Branch City Hall.
(If you are not local to the DFW area, please do not come to this one. There will certainly be other ways for you to show your support in the near future, should you want to.)
On a personal note, I've had to take a short break from videos in order to help my family get well and healthy where I can. I've been in Michigan for the past 2 weeks, and long time viewers might remember a very early video that I posted from here, where I discussed my mom having surgery. I wish I could say that all has been well ever since. Alas, life can be tough sledding some times, especially when it comes to such things.
For a long time I focused hard on this channel, and on career, and right now it's just time to focus hard on family. So while I am eager to make another video, it might be a short while. I hope that people can understand. You guys have always been awesome and I truly appreciate the thumbs up, subs, and support that you've shown over the years.
Hello again, friends. People are sending me emails to let me know that there are scammers in the comments under my videos. And that they were *almost* scammed themselves.
There isn't too much I can do about this. It's just a way of life in 2023. I will never ever ask you to send me money for anything. Not for a delivery fee for a prize that you won. Or anything else that you can think of.
In closing, don't send anyone money. Including me.

Scammers will make a fake profile that looks like mine, and will reply to your comments saying that you won a prize. They’ll ask you to send money in order to receive it. This is nonsense but people seem to think it’s actually me, sometimes.

Lots has happened on the content front lately. The most recent video on my channel reveals some MAJOR news (not clickbait. for real major.). If you haven’t heard you’re gonna want to give it a click. Come for the news, stay for the one-outer in a boat-over-boat scenario.
Two videos ago contains easily one of the most enjoyable stories that I’ve crafted on the vlog. Also not clickbait. I mean that genuinely. And I plan to make more in that theme. The interesting thing is that the video has significantly less views, but people that did click it enjoyed it thoroughly, according to the comments. I originally tried using a different sort of “packaging” (that’s YouTube speak for title and thumbnail) and I think that little experiment failed. Now it’s just called Unexpectedly High Stakes in Texas. If you haven’t seen it, give it a watch and let me know what you think.
I’m typing this on an airplane by the way. I’m currently headed away from Austin, TX and back towards Las Vegas. That means that I won’t be able to win the $500k guaranteed Monthly Monster tournament happening right now and all weekend at the Lodge. You can though, if you hop in for a mere $600 while turning that into $100k, if previous prizes are anything to go by. Flights starting today, tomorrow and Saturday. You take this one, I’ll win the next one. Deal?
