Finding a job in Sweden can be very different from what many foreigners expect.

When I moved here, I thought my experience and qualifications would be enough. But it actually took me three years to get my first job in Sweden.

What surprised me the most was that it wasn’t just about skills — it was about understanding how the Swedish job market works.

Things like:
• Industry demand
• LinkedIn visibility
• Cultural fit
• And even how you write your cover letter

In my latest video, I share exactly what I would do if I were looking for a job in Sweden in 2026 — step by step. https://youtu.be/rXKvlLZs4BA

Hej friends,

I’ve uploaded a new video yesterday, based on things I’ve observed and experienced myself over the years in Sweden.

It’s about how certain habits can quietly shape our progress here, often without us realising it. Not in a negative way, just in a very human way.

If life in Sweden has ever felt slower or more complicated than you expected, this might help put some things into perspective.

Thanks for being here.

Hej Friends,
It’s been a while since I last posted here — life happened, and I took some time to reflect and reset.

I’m back with a new video that I really wanted to get right.
It’s about why the first year in Sweden often feels much harder than people expect, especially if you’ve moved here from another country.

If you’re new in Sweden, or if your beginning here felt confusing, slow, or heavier than you thought it would be — this video is for you.

I talk honestly about things that are rarely explained:
the silence, the unspoken rules, and why progress can feel so slow at first.

Thank you for sticking around.
Let me know if this topic resonates with you — I’d really like to hear your experience.

Hello friends 👋

It’s been a while since I posted, but I’m back again with another video!
This time, I’m sharing a few Tanzanian habits that have stayed with me — even after living in Sweden for 10 years. 🇹🇿🇸🇪

🇹🇿 “You can take me out of Tanzania… but you can’t take Tanzania out of me.”

After 10 years of living in Sweden, I still find myself doing some very Tanzanian things, from cooking way too much food for guests 🍛 to instinctively greeting people with my right hand 🤝.

It’s funny how certain habits just stay with you, no matter where you live.

💬 I’d love to hear from you...What’s one habit from your culture that you’ll never let go of — no matter where you live?

Hej friends,

Life in Sweden has changed me in ways I never expected! After 10 years here, I catch myself doing things I never imagined back home in Tanzania, like drinking endless cups of coffee ☕️ to eating potatoes often instead of rice!

It’s funny how the little everyday habits sneak in and suddenly become part of who you are.

👉 To my Swedish friends: which of these feel the most Swedish to you?
👉 To my international viewers: which one surprised you the most?

Can’t wait to read your stories in the comments! 💬
