Today, we honored the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement law enforcement personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Together, we remembered their courage and sacrifice, and prayed for the families of these fallen heroes.
Our 22,000 ICE personnel have continued to put the American people first through government shutdowns and a more than 1,300% increase in assaults on our officers.
To our ICE personnel— thank you for enforcing the laws Congress passed and getting dangerous illegals aliens off our streets. We have your back.

In 2016, the Lord put a saying on my heart: “love the people, love the call.”
Our CBP officers and their families demonstrate the ultimate act of love by putting their lives on the line to protect their fellow citizens every single day.
Today, we remember Border Patrol Agent David Maland, Supervisory Border Patrol Agent Eric Cespedes, and all of the heroes lost in the line of duty.
As a kid from Westville, it has been the greatest honor and privilege to serve the people of Oklahoma for the past thirteen years in both the House and Senate.
I am grateful to President Trump for nominating me to lead the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. As you prepare your 2025 taxes, I want to flag a few key updates for parents:
✅ If you’re interested in a Trump Account for long-term savings for your children, and you qualify, be sure to select that on your tax form.
✅ Note the expanded Child Tax Credit.
✅ If you or your spouse earned tips or overtime pay in 2025, that income is now TAX FREE.
✅ Also: all Americans earning between $50-80,000 annually will see a 15% tax cut.
This was all part of the Working Families Tax Cut legislation I supported. Nobody likes tax season, but this extra tax relief should come as a welcome savings for millions of families across Oklahoma, and the nation.
Federal law enforcement is arresting 10 TIMES more criminal illegal aliens in states like Texas— where residents largely comply with lawful orders, and no one is biting fingers off ICE agents.
