The name of the game on YouTube seems to be divide and conquer. Those who refuse to participate in divisive narratives that drive wedges between communities often find themselves quietly disappearing from people's feeds. And anyone encouraging others to first discover the truth within, to know themselves before trying to change the world, can feel like they're sent to the bottom of the algorithm. One day your subscribers see everything you post. The next, they wonder where you went. It feels like an inversion of what should matter. The more outrage, conflict, fear, and negativity a piece of content generates, the more attention it attracts. Turn on the evening news and you'll see the same pattern. Bad news dominates because it captures eyes, clicks, comments, and emotion. Meanwhile, messages rooted in self-discovery, unity, and genuine transformation struggle to be heard. Whether you see this as the spirit of our age or simply the incentives of modern media, the result looks the same. People are conditioned to react to extremes instead of cultivating clarity. I'm choosing not to play that game. I refuse to feed division for views or outrage for engagement. I won't settle for being the one "feel-good story" tacked onto the end of the six o'clock news while the rest of the broadcast profits from fear and conflict. The real pushback begins with us. We don't have to reward outrage with our attention or division with our participation. We can choose truth over tribalism, curiosity over contempt, and self-knowledge over manipulation.
