Heya everyone, hope everyone has had a great weekend.
As a lot of you may know I was meant to be running the London Marathon at the end of April with my friend Karen. I was extremely lucky and secured a ballot place.
Training started really well, and I had got up to 18 miles. However, for several weeks of the training I was suffering with pain in my knees, which unfortunately got worse with each run.
I decided to get myself checked out, and unfortunately I have been told that I am doing myself some damage by continuing to run, in particular the longer miles.
It’s been a hard decision, but I have got to think about my health and the long term affects training and continuing to run long distances will do to my knees / joints. Therefore I have decided to pull out of running the marathon. I will still be attending on the day and supporting Karen and her amazing efforts and dedication to her training and fund raising.
Hopefully with time I will be able to run again - but only short and small distances, but for the time being I have to rest and mend.
I’m really grateful to everyone for following my journey, and the money that you have helped raise for this amazing charity, it is such a grateful cause. Karen will now continue to fly the flag for the both of us, and if you wish to support her then please see the link below.

I have just uploaded my latest video #FridaySews (30th Aug) and in it I have asked if you would vote for which dress I should make for a sewing Challenge. How’s everyone doing? I have just uploaded a #FridaySews video and in it I have mentioned completing one of my WIPs, but I need a little push, and thought I would put it out to you lovely people to vote for which one I complete next! 😊
In the video I said the blouse was an Anna Allen pattern 🙈 but it was actually a fibre mood lol!

Good morning 😊
Hope everyone is well and has had a good week.
Just to let you know that there will not be a #fridaysews from me this week. I only want to share sewing related content on a Friday with you - and this week I have not managed to sew, and have no sewing news as such 😂
I have recorded my plans for November and December which will be out on Monday!
I’m a step closer to my McCalls #m6044 man’s shirt sew along being finished too!

Hello again 😊🌸👋🏼 - today is the day I post my very first #fridaysews 😁
I would like all of my Friday Sews videos to be under 20 mins, but in true classic Angela style my first one is not 🙈😂
It is all sewing related, as I share all about mine and a Helen’s (‪@StitchRipRepeat‬ ) experience at the knitting and stitching show, along with what goodies I came away with!

Hoping everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and you are being able to rest in the interim before we embark on 2023.
This quiet time in between Christmas and new year is always a time of reflection and planning for me and my family, as well as eating lots of Christmas snacks, of course 😂
In particular I have been thinking about my YouTube channel, and what you would all like to see from me.
So far I have been making the following types of videos :
Plans
Makes
Chatty 1 week me made per month
Fabric hauls
Sometimes sew alongs

Would you like me to continue what I’ve been doing, introduce anything new, or even stop doing certain videos?

I would love to hear your thoughts 😊
In the mean time, I will be uploading a pons video shortly.
