🎉🎂 Today is my birthday, and honestly one of the coolest gifts has been seeing the response to the Mertens finally moving into their dream enclosure.
This project started as a pile of plywood, pvc, a tub and an idea, and after years of building, setbacks, and updates, it's amazing to finally see Iris and Otis using every part of the enclosure.
Thank you to everyone who's followed this journey from day one and to all the new people who found the channel through this video. I appreciate every one of you.

The water monitors officially move into the giant paludarium.
This has easily been the biggest and most ambitious build I’ve ever done on the channel. Can’t wait for you guys to see the final result.
