June is Men’s Health Month here in Australia, and I just wanted to take a moment to shout out all the men out there trying to do their best.
Whether you’re a dad, husband, mate, business owner, worker, creator, miner, or just someone quietly pushing through, keep going. A lot of blokes carry more than they let on, and sometimes the hardest thing is simply saying something out loud.
Also a big shoutout to the women, partners, families and friends who support the men in their lives. Sometimes that support is what keeps people moving forward.
Look after your health. Check in on your mates. Book the appointment. Have the conversation. Get some sun. Get some sleep. Step away from the rigs for five minutes if you need to.
GPU miners — Pearl's hashrate just climbed again, but we're seeing profits we haven't touched since the Ethereum days. 👀
We're not back to ETH-peak money yet — but for the first time in years, GPU mining actually feels alive again. Between Pearl and the $420/month I'm pulling on Salad AI right now, my rigs haven't been this busy since before The Merge.
So I want to know - what's your mining story right now?
I ranked the best & worst hardware for HOME miners — GPUs, CPUs, and ASICs — using real profitability, payback time, resale value, and versatility (including AI rentals).
Some of you are definitely going to disagree with:
- 3090 vs 5090
- Where I put popular cards like the 3070
- How low I ranked high-end CPUs
For anyone with the new NerdOctaAxe Gamma - There ahs been a recent bug showing a "Current protection error". This is not a hardware error, but a firmware issue and can be fixed by updating to the latest firmware.
Details on how to update can be found at the following Link.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the support this year. The views, the comments, the DMs, the advice, the laughs, and the real friendships that have come out of this community. It genuinely means a lot.
Honestly, there were times this year where I felt tired, unsure, or like I was just shouting into the void... and then I’d get a message from one of you, a thoughtful comment, or someone sharing their own real world journey and it would genuinely lift me up. This community has been a reminder that it’s not just about the gear or the numbers, it’s about the people.
This year taught me a lot, stay consistent, keep it honest, don’t chase noise, and focus on what actually matters, building, learning, and sharing the journey (wins and the stuff that doesn’t go to plan). I’m proud of how real this channel/community is, and I’m grateful you’ve let me be myself through it.
I’m really excited for what’s coming next year, more experiments, more data, more builds, and more community-driven content. And I want to keep it the same way we’ve done it: transparent, practical, and with you involved in the direction.
Wishing you and your families a safe, happy New Year. I hope 2026 brings you health, wins (big or small), and a bit more peace. Let’s make the next one even bigger.

I asked -
"What was your BIGGEST mistake when you first started mining crypto (Salad or any platform) - and what did you learn from it?"
Answer -
“My mistake was chasing hype coins in 2021 instead of focusing on stable earnings. Every ‘next big thing’ I mined tanked in weeks. Now I prioritize consistent payouts and low risk instead of shiny trends.”
Couldn’t be more relatable, most of us have chased the shiny stuff at some point. Solid reminder that steady, consistent mining wins long-term.

What’s the best way to stack Bitcoin if you’re starting small? 👀
I just dropped a new video breaking down 3 beginner-friendly ways to build BTC on a budget:
- Buying Bitcoin directly
- Small home miners
- Using a gaming PC / rental rig
I compare the pros, cons, and which one I think makes the most sense in 2026.
Watch here:

After you watch, tell me:
Which method would you actually start with?
