Update

I went hairdresser to fix it, it looks better now but it’s a lot shorter. It just feels wrong, it’s gonna take me a long while to get used to the length. My eyes have never been puffier, yesterday was a nightmare. I’m honestly just so tired that I give up, it’s whatever ig. I’ve lost all motivation to do anything, so I might be a little inactive for a bit, I’ll try to at least finish the edit I was working on.

Vent.

My mom cut my hair off. I don’t even know what to say. I called for her in the shower upset, asking if she could help me with my hair bc no matter how much I washed it, it felt heavy. Before I knew it, she was cutting my hair with scissors. Years of growing my hair out, Years of a dream, gone just like that. It’s short and uneven, I can’t describe how much I regret trying to ask for help just this once. She yells at me, telling me I should be grateful, that this is my fault. My sis and dad listen to me cry, telling me to “stop crying” and “move on.” Now so much of my hair is gone, and I can’t help but hate myself. Why did I ever think I could look pretty? Feel confident? Why did I even try so hard? No matter what I do I’ll always hate myself, I’ll always suffer. Now I’m sitting here, tearing up at the feeling of my short hair on my skin, feeling empty. Not even a vent edit could explain how I feel rn, This feeling of betrayal, regret and emptiness. Now I have to go to school tmr, with short and uneven hair, having to go through tests the whole day. I just don’t know what to do, I’m gonna go cut myself with the same scissors that cut my hair.
