The purpose of this channel is to teach through the Scriptures as well as promote the cause of God and truth over against the errors of apostate churches, pseudo-Christian cults, and false religions.
The dogmas of the faith are derived from Scripture, either from what they expressly say or from what can be deduced from them by good and necessary consequence. Anything contrary to this rule is to be rejected; anything beyond it is not binding on the conscience.
Sin incurs guilt and renders one liable to judgment. God was under no obligation to provide redemption for guilt-ridden sinners, but in His goodness and love He gave His only begotten Son to endure the penalty due to sinners, and through Him He holds out His hand, as it were, offering forgiveness to those who receive Him by faith. Those who balk at such generosity--either by denying it altogether or by trying to mix human merit in with it--are presumptuous, pretending to know better than what God has revealed in the gospel.
Writing centuries before the coming of Christ, Daniel the prophet didn't have the benefit of learning what true Judaism is from contemporary Jews. Daniel spoke as if God is more than one person, and He prayed as Christian's pray, i.e. by making his supplication in the name or for the sake of the Lord. There is only one way to pray and offer up supplications before God—through the LORD........JESUS CHRIST.
