Starting January 2027, Nevada law will prohibit using Colorado River water to irrigate decorative, nonfunctional grass at commercial and other non‑single‑family properties.
SNWA’s increased Water Smart Landscapes rebate is already available to help valley businesses, HOAs and commercial properties plan ahead.
Businesses can receive $5 per square foot for the first 10,000 square feet of nonfunctional grass converted to water‑efficient landscaping.
