The video tutorial about painting the face of my Commissar Yarrick is available now on my Patreon! This is the first video tutorial that I uploaded about painting this model and the third in total. I’m painting this model with a brush and acrylic paints from Vallejo and Monument Hobbies, and I made in the PDF tutorials the list of the colors that I used and their alternatives from Monument and Vallejo so it’s easy to use either of those brands. I also present color boxes with the names of the colors so you can just look for a similar color from any other brand; in the end the most important thing is not the colors but the right placement of light and shadows. #warhammer #warhammer40000

I painted only one miniature that was sculpted based on the artworks of John Blanche and its Canoness Veridyan. She is also the first miniature that I painted for my patreon, so if you want to give it a try then the tutorial series about painting her is available on my patreon 😁 back then I felt that the bones underneath her foot are too tall to make sense on a 3D miniature (even though it looks great on the artwork) so I sculpted her a base with a marble element of the stairs instead.
