In Part 2, the main focus is on assembling the chassis and undercarriage. Assembling the suspension components and exhaust system is incredibly satisfying, especially seeing the distinctive JDM ground clearance slowly begin to emerge. The Aoshima mold details on the undercarriage are truly a joy to execute.

Finally, I got around to building this Aoshima 1/24 Toyota Chaser Vertex kit. Just from the box art, you can already see the JDM drift vibe. Upon unboxing, the details on the Vertex bumper and rims are absolutely immaculate.

It turns out that assembling this part requires extra care to ensure the proportions are right and precise. Aoshima has perfectly replicated the NSR's signature aluminum frame shape.

Finally finished this project! 🏁 Here are the final details of Aoshima's 1/24 Nissan Skyline ER34 URAS D1 Spec 2002 build.
I'm very satisfied with the proportions and details of this kit, especially the URAS bodykit which makes it look super aggressive like a real D1GP drift car. Swipe the photo for a closer look at the details of the interior, chassis, and decals! 👉
