Those who have followed my posts over the past weeks have seen that one of the central figures of my video’s was John. Exiled to Patmos under the Roman Empire, John received and recorded the visions that would become the Book of Revelation. But his story did not end there...

“Epilogos (Leaving Patmos)” is the final, instrumental track from my apocalyptic hybrid musical-opera Revelation, where the story moves beyond the visions — and we glimpse what came after.
This final piece reflects that continuation: from revelation… to transmission… to legacy.

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end…” - Daniel 12:4

“The Appointed Time | Daniel 7–12” is the fifteenth track from my apocalyptic hybrid musical-opera Revelation, where visions of beasts, kingdoms, and unseen conflicts reveal that history is not random: it moves toward a fixed and appointed moment, set by heaven itself.

“A stone was cut out, but not by human hands…” Daniel 2:34

In “Iron and Clay | Daniel 2” an ancient dream reveals the fragile nature of earthly power. As empires built by human hands fracture, divide, and ultimately give way to a kingdom that cannot be shaken. This is the fourteenth track from my apocalyptic hybrid musical-opera Revelation,

“Contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted…” — Epistle of Jude

In the thirteenth track, “Contend for the Faith | Jude,” from my apocalyptic hybrid musical-opera Revelation, the message turns into a call to stand firm — as truth is challenged, grace is distorted, and the line between faithfulness and deception is drawn.

“The world behind me. The cross before me. And I won’t turn back.”
In the twelfth track, “I Have Decided,” from my apocalyptic hybrid musical-opera Revelation, the journey continues beyond the vision with a series of bonus tracks — the first reflecting a decision that cannot be undone, where faith is no longer observed, but chosen.

ON THE VISUALS IN THE VIDEO:
Unfortunately, it was really hard to keep the visuals consistent, but you will understand the story the video is trying to tell. Please comment below with your thoughts. 🙏

Inspired by THE GARO MARTYR STORY
Faith, Persecution, and the Birth of a Testimony Song
The story often called the Garo Martyr story comes from Northeast India in the 19th century, a region inhabited by tribal peoples such as the Garo, Khasi, and Jaintia. It is most commonly associated with the hymn “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus.” The essence of the story reflects a historical context of violent resistance to Christian conversion in tribal communities. This is evident in the Garo narrative, but it continues today with the persecution of Christians worldwide.

HISTORICAL CONTEXT:
Northeast India in the 1800s

During the mid-to-late 19th century, Christian missionaries—particularly Welsh Presbyterian missionaries—worked among the tribal groups of present-day Meghalaya and Assam. These societies were tightly knit, clan-based, and governed by village chiefs. Religion was not merely personal belief; it was communal identity.

To abandon the ancestral faith was seen as:
- Betrayal of the clan
- Threat to social cohesion
- Rejection of ancestral spirits and customs

As a result, early converts often faced expulsion, violence, or execution.

THE MARTYRDOM STORY
According to oral tradition passed down among Indian Christians, a man from a tribal village—often described as Garo or Khasi—converted to Christianity after hearing the gospel from missionaries. His conversion did not remain private. He openly confessed Christ, refusing to renounce his faith when pressured by village authorities.

The village chief, angered by what he saw as defiance and spiritual contamination, ordered the man to recant. When he refused, the chief escalated the punishment.
The man’s children were executed before his eyes.
Still, he would not deny Christ.
His wife was then killed.
Finally, the man himself was executed.

The tradition says that as each threat was made, the man responded with declarations of unwavering faith—statements that later became associated with the famous lyrics:
"I have decided to follow Jesus
No turning back, no turning back
Though none go with me, still I will follow
The world behind me, the cross before me"

According to the Garo martyr tradition, the story does not end with the execution of the man and his family. Their deaths became the turning point.
The courage and peace with which the man faced the loss of his wife and children deeply unsettled the village. His refusal to retaliate, recant, or curse those killing him raised a single, unavoidable question among the villagers: What kind of faith produces this kind of strength?

In the aftermath, the village chief and many in the community reportedly abandoned their former beliefs and embraced Christianity. The very village that sought to erase the faith became a Christian community.
In this way, the martyr’s testimony did not die with him.
It multiplied.
“The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church.”

What happened in that village refused to remain there. It moved beyond its borders and outlived its original witnesses. The testimony spread first by word of mouth, then through missionaries, and ultimately through song. From Northeast India it reached the wider Church, where one act of faith strengthened many, and one costly decision became a global confession—no turning back.
