Hey guys, I’m going to be uploading more raw but very helpful camping equipment reviews on my “Tolbers Camping Reviews” channel, so make sure you are subbed to that channel if that sounds interesting. I’m not just talking expensive power stations and fridges, but all sorts of cheap but cool items also. I think this new approach is going to be fun for me as I love reviewing items and you’ll be able to see a lot of cool items that may interest you.

My goal is to get away from any kind of reviews on my main “Tolbers Camping” Channel and just have it pure camping adventures. So I appreciate any support you guys show on my new channel so I can get it going.

I do have one more dedicated review of a nice power station that will be dropping on this channel soon. I’ve been waiting for my title on the new red van so I could get tabs and drive it again, but it’s taken forever for them to send it. They have finally sent it so I’ll be able to legally drive the red van and film new videos in it soon. We aren’t just going to be camping locally anymore though, we are ready to start traveling to some really sweet places around the country so this is going to be fun but all new for me. So the best is yet to come guys, God has just been prepping me for what He has planned.

Some have said YouTube hasn’t been recommending my videos to them lately, so make sure to see if you’ve missed any.

Also appreciate any of you guys that have been supporting the new Christian merch I’ve been designing. Like I said 20% of all profits go to supporting Christian ministries and will raise that percentage as I can. My goal isn’t to have the cheapest Christian merch, I’m working toward getting high quality stuff and much more custom designs as I go. Not only does it help support me and God’s Kingdom directly, but gets people thinking and talking about the Lord with you when you wear it. Hey guys, if you haven't seen my most recent video with Joel go check it out. I know a good amount of you guys wanted to see my camp with him again as it's always a great time lol. I also have a really sweet off grid cabin way up in northern Minnesota close to the Canadian border adventure planned for next week. This will be the first video that my daughter will be in, in over a year and a half so it should be a fun time. Hoping to see some wildlife as we are way up there. Love you guys, God bless

I love reviewing these solar generators as I think they are super useful and think everyone should try to get one when they can. I’m trying to review the best more reasonably priced options out there. Appreciate the few that still like and comment on my review videos even though I know they are not as fun to watch. I have an another solar generator review video that will be out in a couple days. It’s a little larger than the last one I reviewed, but still within financial reach of many. I truly believe we should all have a way to generate power other than just gas generators. Me and my family have been getting a really nice solar generator setup, dry food and water. I’m not saying anything bad is going to happen anytime soon, but I personally don’t trust the government and just want to be prepared as possible just incase something was to happen so we could lay low for a bit. Most people wouldn’t even know what to do if the water was cut off for 3 days or power for a week. There would be a panic and all water at store would be gone along with food and other supplies. Things that are still available would be jacked up in price and all sales gone if you can even find what you need.

I put my full trust in God, but that doesn’t mean don’t use the brain He gave me and I do feel He’s been leading me to do this. Don’t forget 2020, evil is not holding back anymore. It wants its way and willing to do whatever it can to get it. This isn’t meant to be a controversial post, just giving my personal opinion and what I’ve been doing.

Couple days following the review video you’ll see a cool tiny cabin adventure I just did. Also I’m very close to getting a van again that will be dedicated to camping and the Durango will just be my daily. We are about to start going to all the coolest places around the country. Videos are going to be getting more consistent with a mixture of camping/traveling adventures and solar generator reviews.

Eventually all my power station and solar panel reviews will be on my new Tolbers Camping Reviews Channel and have only my camping adventures on this channel. So if you want to subscribe to that channel just search for Tolbers Camping Reviews.

Happy 4th of July guys! We just woke up, but ready for some fireworks tonight! I have a review video going live at noon today, CST. I was very impressed with the small cheap power station and think it’s a great option for those looking to get into off grid or backup power. I know most of the power station I’ve reviewed have been super expensive, so trying to show you guys some more reasonable options as I really think we should all have one. I have been spending time with my kids this week and working on a lot of other projects, but really fun camping adventures on the way. Love you guys, God Bless 🇺🇸

Hey guys, I know it’s been along time since I posted a camping adventure and even longer since I made a community post so wanted to update y’all. I know I haven’t even meet most of you guys in person, but I truly miss talking with y’all in the comments and brining you along on adventures.

I’d love to fill y’all in on even more of what God’s been doing in my life, but I’ll save that for another community post as this may be long already. This post I just wanted to say where I’m at with this channel and my plans/goals. First off I have a new website that is just my last name Tolbers. I’m no where near done with it, but it is live and I’ll be updating it a lot over these next couple months.

I’m also going to start a Christian clothing brand soon. I’ll probably branch into more things like coffee cups, tumblers, candles and what not eventually also. I’m going to start pretty simple and take my time building it up. Going to start with print on demand and only a few designs I really like, but as I get that income up I want to start getting more personally involved getting stuff made locally of very high quality and fun designs. My prices may be a little higher but I want people to experience quality when they get it and great customer service if there’s an issue. Even the print on demand company I just chose that’s making my new Tolbers Camping merch I did a lot of research on, making sure they have the best customer service. Everything I’m doing is God led, so taking my time to hear His direction in it all.

I really want to do this because from my experience wearing Christian merch out and about really creates great conversations about God and can also sow a quick seed into people’s lives that God can use to draw people to Him. 20% of all profits from my Tolbers Camping and Christian merch will be going to Christian ministries God places on my heart. I will be making a page on my Tolbers website that shows how much and where it’s gone once I get this rolling.

It’s going to start small but God says

“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin” (Zechariah 4:10)

Next thing I wanted to share is how I had to get the suv because of the unexpected divorce I went through last year, because I needed something more reliable and with rear seats for my kids. Having all wheel drive was another reason, but we literally got no snow last year so that hasn’t come in handy yet lol. I wasn’t able to have two vehicles in the situation I was in last year, so got ride of the van. Now I’m in a much better situation where getting a dedicated van for camping would be great and allow me to really deck it out for traveling and filming without having to take everything out all the time. So for those wondering why I got rid of the van, that’s why. So for now I’ll be rocking the Durango as a daily and camping vehicle until I can afford to get a decently reliable van that’s dedicated for camping.

I know you guys aren’t huge fans of dedicated review videos, but I did just film one of a sweet little solar generator that I think many of you guys will be interested in. It’s tiny and cheap compared to what you guys normally see me review and it was able to power my toaster and coffee maker lol. Made for a great breakfast/lunch in the woods. So I’ll be editing and getting that video up soon. Hopefully you guys got to see my walking across the Mississippi River video, but my goal is to go to sweet locations like that for almost all my new camping adventures so that’s what’s coming with this channel. Videos will be getting more consistent and fun, just working with what I have at the moment and had to get a lot of stuff straightened out in my life this last year.

Still waiting on snow in Minnesota, we’ve had record setting warmth, so no white Christmas this year unfortunately. Also I should have a new video up tomorrow night, so watch for that.

Met ​⁠‪@mav‬ for the second time today. Super cool dude, literally a celebrity at this point. Got to talk YouTube for a couple minutes with him, but he had a large line of fans waiting behind me so had to cut it short. Maybe in the future we’ll do a camping adventure together. Disregard the hair, I’ve been trying to let it grow out so it’s at that awkward length where it’s hard to style.

Also wanted to say I apologize for only being able to uploaded 1 or 2 videos a months this year. Went through a dragged out divorce along with a lot of other things I needed to deal with, but that will all be changing starting December. I have one more review video that will be out next weekend, and then I’m done with reviewing products in my videos, it was a large source of income for me, but I’ve been able to increase my income enough that I no longer need to do that. So my videos will be getting much more fun and frequent. I’ll also be doing a lot of traveling to sweet locations in the United States in 2024, which I’m very excited about bringing you guys along with. I also now have all wheel drive and will be getting snow tires this week, so a lot of winter camping videos coming.
