This narrative delves into the story of Azmy Salama, a young man raised amidst the awe-inspiring pyramids of Djoser and Sahure, and the sun temples of Abusir. His childhood was steeped in the mysteries etched onto the walls of tombs and temples, igniting a relentless curiosity about the hieroglyphics and the enigmatic civilization it represented.

Driven by a torrent of questions – "How?", "Who?", "What?", "Why?", and "When?" – Azmy became an avid eavesdropper on tour guides, captivated by the throngs of international visitors drawn to Egypt's allure. He harbored a yearning to share his passion, a conviction that transcended mere academic pursuit.

Upon completing high school, Azmy embarked on a formal journey into Egyptology. He gravitated towards hieroglyphics, feeling an inexplicable familiarity with the ancient symbols, a connection that transcended time. Yet, academic study alone couldn't satiate his yearning for deeper understanding. He sought the thrill of practical experience, the chance to unearth the secrets of the pharaohs firsthand.

With the help of a friend, Azmy secured his entry into the world of archaeological Excavation. Joining an excavation mission as a worker, he reveled in the opportunity to unveil the buried narratives of the past. The excavation team, recognizing his academic background, took him under their wing, providing invaluable mentorship and practical training.

Azmy's thirst for knowledge remained unquenched after graduating with a degree in Egyptology. He continued his pursuit, working for the Ministry of Antiquities at Giza, Helwan, and finally, Saqqara – his personal sanctuary. Participating in field schools with Egyptian, German, and French Egyptologists broadened his perspective, exposing him to diverse archaeological approaches.

His quest for knowledge extended beyond Egypt's Excavation Field Schools. He collaborated with French, Dutch, and American archaeological missions, venturing to Germany and the USA in his insatiable pursuit of understanding. This dedication culminated in the attainment of Master's and PhD degrees in Egyptology.

Azmy's journey, however, transcended personal accomplishment. He passionately sought to share his knowledge and ignite the spark of Egyptological fervor in others. Thus, he embarked on a new chapter as a freelance Egyptologist and tour guide, his voice echoing the tales of ancient Egypt, ensuring its legacy continues to captivate and inspire.

This Story, far from reaching its conclusion, stands as a testament to the enduring allure of ancient Egypt and the transformative power of passion. Azmy's journey forever captivated by the mysteries that lie nestled within the sands of time.
