Welcome to UK Life Logs 🇬🇧
ko-fi.com/wanderblisschronicles

I created this channel with one purpose: to build a supportive space for people who’ve migrated to the UK.
Leaving behind your home, your comfort zone, and everything familiar takes incredible courage. Whether you came for your family, your future, or a fresh start—you’ve already done something extraordinary. And I want to say: well done.

But let’s be honest—this journey isn’t easy.
From confusing systems and cultural shocks to moments of loneliness and stress… I’ve been through it all too. That’s why I started this channel: to share what I’ve learned, offer real talk about the migrant experience, and remind you that you’re not alone.

Even if I can’t post every week, every video is created with care—to guide you, support you, and help you feel a little more at home here in the UK.

We’re in this together.
Welcome to the journey. Welcome to the community.

A man lost an election by 45 votes.
So he built a tower out of spite.
Over 200 years later — it’s one of the most stunning viewpoints in all of Wales. The Towy Valley below. The sky wide open above.
We had no idea this place existed until we stumbled across it.
That’s Wales for you. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We went to Dinefwr Park for the bluebells. 🌸
Then we found this.
Newton House. Built in 1660. Gothic towers. Grounds designed by Capability Brown. A history stretching back over 2,000 years — Roman forts, Welsh princes, and a family that had to buy their own land back from Henry VIII.
And officially? The National Trust calls it one of the most haunted houses in Britain.
👻 Walter the Butler — still haunting the servants’ basement. Staff and visitors have reported smelling his tobacco smoke for decades.
👻 The White Lady — Lady Elinor Cavendish, murdered here in the 1720s after fleeing an arranged marriage. Her ghost has been seen on the second floor ever since.
👻 The staircase — visitors report feeling choked walking up it. Every single time.
The hauntings were so significant that Most Haunted investigated Newton House on two separate occasions.
We had no idea any of this when we walked through the door.
Would you go in knowing all of that? 👇

We weren’t expecting this.
A carpet of blue — stretching through 2,000 year old woodland, beneath a medieval castle, in the heart of Wales.
Bluebell season at Dinefwr Park is something else entirely. 🌸
Kings walked this same ground. The Lord Rhys ruled from here in the 12th century. And every spring — without fail — the bluebells come back.
Wales never stops surprising us. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We took a boat INTO Europe’s most powerful waterfall and… 🤯
Everyone told me Rhine Falls was just another overpriced Swiss tourist trap. But after spending a full day there (for under 30 CHF!), I have to disagree.
• How to get there from Zurich
• The incredible 14 CHF boat experience
• Best viewing platforms (some FREE!)
• Crowd timing hacks
• Why this beats most Swiss attractions
The full honest review with ALL the details is now live on YouTube - ‪@wanderbliss.chronicles‬
