Hi, I have lived and breathed vintage & classic cars, old lorries, automobilia and more here in the UK since the mid-1980s when I first laid a spanner on the rusting remains of a 1967 Triumph Spitfire. I learnt to drive in a Mk1 Austin Mini, and took my test in our Austin A40 Mk1. I created the Old Classic Car (OCC) site in 2001 to reflect my own interests in the world of aged automobiles and it is updated regularly. I hope that my videos about these characterful old cars, and my obsessions about them, help raise the profile of these wonderful relics of motoring's past. Morning all, with the Herald & pickup now departed, it was time to find a replacement. In Wednesday's video (live 06.30am UK time) our latest car makes its debut on the channel. We then take it for a maiden show outing to Combermere to have a mooch around the attending cars there. A full video on this latest buy will follow along shortly!

Morning, lined up for midday tomorrow (Weds), our outing in the Buick to April's VAST Combermere automobile assembly (or Cars & Caffeine at Combermere to give it its proper name). This was one of the best-attended Combermere meets we've been to in ages, it was truly packed. Cars ranged from modern performance jobs, classics, and a good number of pre-war examples. Live Weds 12pm UK time.
