Think on this:
If we get too caught up in why God told His people to do certain things in the Old Testament—what they wore, how they sacrificed, how often they did it—we’ll miss the bigger picture. God was teaching them how to be in right relationship with Him. There’s honor and holiness in the way you relate to Him. Before Christ came and established a new covenant, God had to lay the foundation—showing His people what it meant to live in reverence, obedience, and relationship with Him.
Today, that foundation still stands. It’s not about what we wear or what we eat anymore—it’s about our character! God has called us to be different from the rest. Not set apart by what we do, but by who we are.
The world lies, gossips, cheats, and deceives. But does God? No. And neither should we!

I used to find myself in dynamics with men who weren’t responsible with their spiritual and emotional health—men who were prideful about it or sought help in the wrong places.
You know you need help but refuse to seek it or humble yourself before the Lord, so now your cry for help shows up as depression, anger, pride and manipulation.
I’m so glad for God’s work in me, because I don’t see those dynamics as safe anymore. With love and compassion, I pray that men humble themselves so they can heal.
