Today SIRA (Shiba Inu Rescue Association) is partnering with multiple other Shiba Inu rescues in the country to pick up 60 - SIXTY - Shibas from a puppy mill. These 60 are from a group of about 400 - yes, FOUR HUNDRED - dogs that are being released instead of "destroyed" - more accurately, killed because they are no longer profitable. And there are still about 400 dogs the mill isn't releasing.
Please, let's send out energy to the badass folks who are doing this today. And for the scared dogs who have been stuck in cages, abused, and have had no loving human contact. May Hekate be with you on your journey to safety. May she light your way and help you see clearly. Blessed Be.
