Fascinating talking to @lucystanding2272. Lucy is the founder of @bravestarts, which offers career change and start up business programmes to help people over 50 lead more purposeful lives.
We talked to Lucy about her journey, the inspiration behind Bravestarts and how she’s making a positive difference to so many people’s lives.
When asked what has been the most rewarding aspect of running her business, Lucy told us “It really is making a difference to people and seeing them happy/settled in new careers.”
And her advice to someone thinking about starting a business? “Don’t do it if you haven’t got the money to afford to lose. Don’t do it unless you’ve done as much as you can to shadow/test out if it’s something you’d really enjoy because dreams don’t match reality.”
