Sometimes I wish love was enough for them to live forever. We got not the best news at the vet today. Memphis's liver levels are even worse than before. I don't have the numbers yet as they had to dilute things and stuff. We have a few more tests we are going to run, but it's not the news we wanted today.
On a good note, she is still our happy old girl!

We never knew your real Birthday, ,but we did a few good guesses, and even your DNA test gave us an idea on your real age. We picked May 8th to celebrate your Birthday. Today would have been another Birthday of yours. Our Fluffy Butt Rescue dog!
You had a good long life, and lived to be around 14 years old, but only 6 of those year were spent with us! I am so glad we got to be your forever home. From what we know, she was bounced around to at minimum, five homes in her life, with ours finally being her forever home.
You were a craigslist find! All those years ago, I saw your previous owner post you on craigslist, saying to a Husky approved home only. They told us you were 2 around 2, as that is what they were told when they adopted her from a shelter. To be fair, Memphis is 12, and yesterday someone thought she was a puppy. I swear Huskies tend to look so much younger then they are!
When you arrived to meet our dogs, we clearly knew you were not two years old. You already had joint issues, and even though we wanted a younger dog, we decided to say yes to this 8 year old, adult dog! We are so glad we said yes!
Even now, all these years later, people still share their favorite memories of you with us, and it makes us so happy to know that not only did you bring joy to our lives, but joy to millions of others as well! Happy Birthday fluffy butt! We miss you!

She did it! This dog made it to 13 year old! Look at this happy face! I still can't believe it! Happy 13th Birthday to the snuggle bug, Memphis Belle!
For being 13, she's doing pretty good. Has a bit of ups and downs, as all senior dogs do, but for the most part, she's pretty dang amazing!

15 years ago today, a crew from Animal Planet came to our house to film Shiloh and Shelby for a show called Bad Dog! They had found some of the videos I had been uploading of both of them, being, well, bad dogs! Eating remotes, flash drives, grandma's Christmas bread, the Krispy Cream Donuts.
This was way back in the early days of us making content, and it was the first time the dogs were featured on a national TV show! They have been on a few shows since then.
They sent a full TV crew, producer and everything! We filmed at the old house, then we took them out and had the dogs pull a sled. It was such a fun experience that honestly, I won't ever forget.
This was back in the day, with just the two OG stars of Gone to the Snow Dogs, Shiloh and Shelby, the dogs that literally started it all!
