If someone had shown me the last slide a few years ago, I probably wouldn’t have believed it.
I grew up in Bahrain.
Moved to India for my BTech.
Started my cybersecurity career while still in university.
Moved to the UK for my Master’s.
At every stage, I thought I was just making the next logical decision.
I wasn’t chasing a perfect plan.
I was simply taking the opportunities that felt right at the time.
Looking back, it’s crazy how those small decisions added up.
Today, I get to:
✨ Work in cybersecurity in the UK
✨ Create content that reaches thousands of people
✨ Mentor aspiring professionals from around the world
✨ Speak at cybersecurity conferences
✨ Receive recognition I never imagined I’d earn
And yet, I still feel like I’m only getting started.
The last slide says “2026 - ?”
That’s because I genuinely don’t know what’s next.
Maybe a new role.
Maybe building something bigger.
Maybe taking a completely different path.
Whatever it is, I’m excited to find out.
Life rarely goes exactly as planned, but sometimes that’s where the best opportunities come from.

I started here… to be here.
No certainty. Just curiosity and a decision to begin.
⭐️ From knowing nothing about cyber to now working in it and helping thousands break into this field.
⭐️ From a tier 2 city college in India to building a career in London.
⭐️ From applying for a master’s with doubts… to getting the degree.

Everyone around me chose software development because it felt like the “safe” path.
I chose cybersecurity instead,even without a roadmap, mentors, or guarantees.
At times, I doubted myself. I was told it was too hard to break into. That I should just follow the crowd.
But I stayed consistent. I kept learning, building, applying, and showing up, even when progress felt slow.
Eventually, that path led me to a cybersecurity internship, a Master’s in Cybersecurity, and a career in the UK where I now work in the field and mentor others starting out.
The biggest lesson?
You don’t have to follow the crowd to build a meaningful career. You just have to stay committed to the one that actually excites you.
