This was Tough! I decided to hibernate Jelmer Builds Things.
Over the last two months I tried to change course by leaning in on cinematography and Against Mediocrity, but unfortunately I haven't seen the results that I was looking for. Even though I got 8.6k views over that period, on average viewers only stayed for 18 seconds, there was little to no engagement (likes + comments) and only 0.2% of my subscribers came back to watch new videos.
The only success during this period was that there were a couple of videos that had unsubscribed viewers that watched from beginning to end.
As of right now I will concentrate my energies on a new channel in another niche that is made with AI. As for the videos of this channel: I am considering starting a new channel and repurposing (and re-editing) the content of the last two months. But, if, when and how is what I will postpone to December of next year (2026). I still enjoy making content in the maker niche, but I want things to be a success and this right now ain't it.

I'm looking forward to the 3rd live-stream this Thursday around 11.00 AM AST. Last week was awesome to actually meet some folks during the stream. I plan to up my game, so come check the stream this Thursday!
