A slightly late post because I have a market this weekend and was setting up my booth earlier when the video was up!
I have added all the timestamps and links in the video description 💕

This one uses 3.5mm hook instead of our usual 2.5mm!
You can make one with 2.5mm hook but it will be smaller. I made one in green and it looked like a lily pad 🐸 The frog cupcake is from the animal cupcake tutorial!

I think ribbons are the best flat accessories to use for this coaster! 🎀
Goes well with the flowers and makes the base the most stable for your cup/mug!
If you are left handed, you can switch your animal to the other side of the coaster~

Next video I am thinking of making something strawberry theme🍓👀

Working on some of your suggestions which include quite a few food theme 👀
With this cupcake base you can also crochet other character cupcakes, not only capybara ones 🧁🎀

Just wanted to share the honest reason why I haven't been working on the videos. As some of you know I am from Singapore and have quite a strong Singapore English accent, I have been so stressed out trying to enunciate my words carefully and slowly to make my English sounds understandable, but ended up making my videos sound unnatural compared to on my IGS when I speak more naturally.

But I have come to accept the fact that there is just no way I can compete with other international English speaking crocheters unless I pack up and move to a new country, stay a few years integrating into the accent and language and entirely change myself, I have decided to just let loose and speak more naturally with my Singapore English accent in new videos from now on. It takes off so much of the stress without having to sound perfect every time.

Despite all this, if you decide to stick around for future tutorials and uploads, thank you and please look forward! ❤️

If you want a distinct mouth, try sewing a line across the front of his face with embroidery string. I think it may look good too!

I also tested the orange video again and found no problems with the pattern. It's an old video when the channel is still new so lots of things have now improved on the newer tutorials! I will do a quick update on a pinned comment there 🍊

I hope you guys like this mini horse design that's not the typical horse look! It can be a great conversation starter too I think 🙈
I find photos and video can't capture it well because of the shape probably but it's much cuter irl when you're holding onto them or setting them as display pieces! 😭

This bee is inspired by a cute bee mirror I saw but I couldn't find a mirror small enough to stick on the back of the bee! 🥲
If you can find a really mini mirror decal (for phones etc.) it may work! Or try other ways to accessorize 🎀
