BREAKING: Anti-illegal immigration activist and podcaster Ngizwe Mchunu has called on President Cyril Ramaphosa to take decisive action against Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba over her reported stance on the March and March movement.
Mchunu criticised Ramathuba after she allegedly rejected the movement’s planned protests against illegal immigration in Limpopo. He argued that it is wrong to suggest the group should stay out of the province’s immigration challenges.
According to Mchunu, illegal immigration is a national concern that affects every part of South Africa and should not be viewed as a problem unique to Limpopo. He insists that citizens have the right to raise the issue across the country rather than limiting the debate to one province.

South African anti-immigration activist Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma sparked widespread outrage across the continent after boldly telling the United Nations and neighboring countries to focus on US President Donald Trump's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) before policing South Africa's domestic migration affairs.
The leader of the "March and March" movement delivered the sharp response during a viral interview with a Zimbabwean journalist, solidifying her stance amidst intensifying pressure over ongoing anti-migrant demonstrations.
Jacinta rejected criticisms from human rights groups and the United Nations, arguing that global bodies display selective outrage by ignoring strict enforcement policies like Trump's ICE while scrutinizing South Africa.
Instead of African governments cautioning their citizens against potential violence in South Africa, Jacinta stated they must "come and fetch their citizens," declaring that South Africa has its own problems to deal with.
The remarks surfaced just after an informal June 30 deadline set by her group for undocumented migrants to leave the country.
The activist has vowed weekly Thursday demonstrations and warned of a nationwide shutdown if their demands are ignored.
According to reports tracked on several platforms, the statements have triggered severe backlash from foreign nationals and humanitarian organizations, who warn that such rhetoric incites xenophobia and intimidates vulnerable communities. Anti-migrant groups continue to leverage high local unemployment rates and crime anxieties to fuel their campaigns.

South African music executive and podcaster Nota Baloyi has sparked debate after making controversial remarks about Nigeria during a recent podcast, with clips of the interview circulating on X.
During the discussion, Baloyi claimed that South Africa’s infrastructure surpasses that of Nigeria and many other African countries. He also argued that South Africa has made long-term investments that continue to benefit the rest of the continent.
Using DStv as an example, he said Nigerians rely on the South African television platform to watch events like the FIFA World Cup, adding that many households power their TVs with generators. He further claimed that Nigeria had not invested enough in developing its own people.
The remarks have since generated mixed reactions online
