Hi, I’m Vic & I’m really glad you’re here.

“Planet V” started as a mix of my name and the French word voyage (travel), but the “V” also stands for Valdis—my partner-in-crime and artistic companion on most trips. So yes, there are two V’s behind the scenes.

We’re not full-time vloggers 😄, but we enjoy capturing our travels our way. This channel is our personal archive of places, walks, and random detours that turned out to be worth it ... something we can revisit years from now and smile.

Based in Brussels, I’m a singer and choral conductor. I started vlogging during the Covid lockdowns to stay creative. Still a bit camera-shy, but I love the editing (it takes a few days!).

You might also spot Valdis, my loyal travel buddy.

We explored Ancient Messene in Greece - one of the most complete ancient cities in the country. Temples, mosaics, the stadium, sanctuaries… it’s like walking through an entire classical world still standing in the landscape.
