Did you know that Kelly Donovan (Matt and Vicki Donovan’s mother) from The Vampire Diaries was supposed to be a succubus? According to the book, “I was Feeling Epic” by Samantha Highfill, the writers of the show, Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson, initially wrote a scene where Kelly kisses a man behind the Mystic Grill and sucks the life out of him, but the scene was deleted and the idea completely scrapped. What do you think about this?
I watched the deleted scene and thought it was creepy, but I still think it would’ve been interesting. At the same time though, I understand why it was scrapped.
