Hello GARYGOYLES! There will be no stream tonight as I’m supporting a good friend at her choral recital, but will instead do a Christmas special stream tomorrow! 7pm UK time!
TONIGHT I will be speaking with the lovely Brea Gosling at Brooklands Radio about poetry, my personal journey and Surrey Poet Laureateship all through 14 hand-picked songs!
I’ve never done a full 2hr radio show before, so was quite an experience!
I just wanted to check in with the Garygoyle fam as I know I didn’t stream on Sunday and was completely MIA. Bluntly put, I’m absolutely exhausted. Life is so incredibly busy right now I’m literally having to live life from week to week and on some levels day to day l, just to function and keep on top of things. To use the analogy of a phone battery, I’m basically consistently at 5% and hitting 0% constantly. If it was possible for a battery to go into negative, I’d genuinely be existing there.
I apologise for not streaming on Sunday, I just couldn’t muster the energy to get off my bed. I absolutely love what I do, and therefore give every ounce of myself to it because I truly believe the world needs more poetry! People need more poetry, it may sound over the top but it changed my life, why can’t it change others?!
I’m really pleased to say that the channel hit 600k+ views recently, and today surpassed 9k subs! I appreciate every view, every sun, and every channel membership! Thank you for your support and most importantly right now, your patience!
