I know it’s a tall ask, but I will be turning to the beach volleyball fans to help support independent channels like Eric Cam so we can continue creating quality content FOR ALL to enjoy, study, and continue living the beach lifestyle that I hope the ERIC CAM LENS has brought everyone over the last five years.

We have: 4 camera 🎥 angles (including a cinematic drone), 2 MC’s 🎤
• Graphic scoreboard overlays
• Slow motion sky cam replays for numerous attacks to study
• Players mic’d 🎤🎤🎤🎤up throughout the match

It’s not perfect - but it’s a proof of concept built through the volunteer efforts of a small production team we assembled alongside @beachunitedvolleyball and eight pro and aspiring pro ballers to help execute a vision I’ve had for a long time.

I would love to continue producing projects like this with the team and eventually raise enough support to equip everyone involved with premier gear and compensate everyone for their efforts and boost the prize purse 💰for hand picked pro teams to win/earn - whether they are competing or helping on the production side - because this is what beach volleyball deserves 🏐💪

Eric Cam Beach Volleyball

This video, dropping soon on ERIC CAM, is a unique learning tool for studying attack geometry from above the court through aerial drone footage.

All four players are mic’d up, allowing you to hear every discussion, adjustment, strategy call, and reaction in real time. None of the players had ever trained or competed together before this match, making it especially interesting to hear how they communicate, problem-solve, and build chemistry under pressure.

Whether you’re a player, coach, or fan of the game, there’s a lot to learn from the movement patterns, decision-making, and partner communication throughout the match.

Eric Cam Beach Volleyball

FYI, in case anyone wonders what a channel like this earns...
I've had Eric Cam for over 4 years. I became eligible for YouTube monetization last July, and since then the channel has earned $2,718.88.
Since October 31, 2021, I've uploaded 1,335 videos, grown to 4.61K subscribers, and accumulated 3,172,723 views.
If you divide the total earnings by the number of videos, that's about $2.03 per upload.
I've easily invested 3,000+ hours filming, editing, uploading, organizing footage, and running the channel. That works out to less than $1 per hour.
I don't share this to complain. I share it because many people assume YouTube channels automatically make good money. For a niche sport like beach volleyball, that's usually not the reality.
The main reason I keep doing this is because I love the sport and want to help showcase the incredible athletes, matches, stories, and memories that make beach volleyball special.

Eric Cam captured Hagen Logan v Qatar 🇶🇦 today this might be my favorite Eric Cam match I’ve ever filmed . they killed it and I’m pretty sure I killed it too. cannot wait to see it on the big screen (also recorded Basey Hurst v Evans Bradford - might top my list too. And to top those two off Ally and Sarah’s performance against Brazil 🇧🇷 at AVP hope you guys are as stoked as me to see them Eric Cam style (and I kept my mouth shut for the most part 🏐💪)
