Thanks to all for the birthday wishes!

I enjoyed my birthday focusing on solid quality time with each of my three boys: playing piano with Kaladin's tiny feet, picking out a birthday cake with (really for) Mycroft), and tasting fancy southwestern cuisine with Kirk @ursa_az . I'll post some food pics in stories, because WOW it was so creative and unique!

Every day that we get to build memories with loved ones is special to me. While birthdays remind us to take time to focus on things & people we love most, I hope that all of us don't forget to continue prioritizing what matters most: each other.

IT'S A DOUBLE DOUBLE FEATURE!

Monday, March 2nd and Tuesday, March 3rd, I'll be releasing 2 song analyses each day. It's strange how my internal schedule lined these things up, but I felt it necessary to let y'all know, and cross my fingers you can make it to the premieres!

Monday, I'm releasing my very first Bring Me The Horizon analysis (an orchestral performance of "Doomed" followed by my analysis of Maphra's cover of "Doomed".

Tuesday, I'm releasing my very first collab with Knox Hill where we dig into Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise" followed by Weird Al Yankovic's "Amish Paradise", which I thought was the original for well over a decade.

This is going to be a FUN start to March. Please join me in those premieres at 8am MST!

Hello lovelies,

Thank you so much for your input during yesterday's Twitch stream. We have several new vocalists that have made it to the shortlist for our team to review much more thoroughly.

I'm going to stream one more time to widen our pool. Today at 2:00 pm MST will be the last stream for expanding to new vocalists to consider for our study. Please join to give us your thoughts on which vocalists you'd like to see a part of this research!

Same guidelines as yesterday: we’re looking for candidates that meets these qualifications:

Specialize in harsh/distorted vocals.

Perform in at least 2 different harsh vocal styles (example: false cords and high screams). More variation is even better.

Have been performing regularly for at least 5 years (their technique needs to be consistent for data gathering)

Available around May 1 (plus or minus 1 week) to come to Utah

The ability to sing clean vocals and living close to Salt Lake City are both pluses. Also, we’re specifically looking for extreme vocalists - not just rock vocalists who occasionally do distorted screams.

If a singer doesn't meet these qualifications, please don't submit them. We already have several singers who have passed this initial phase.

I'll be listening to some of the singers we didn't get to in the stream yesterday to start. Having a link ready that demonstrates the singer's skill is very helpful!

I’m going to be streaming on Twitch today from around 1:00-2:00pm MST, and I invite you to join me to influence who we ask to join our vocal research.

We’re looking for another candidate that meets this qualifications:
1. Specializes in harsh/distorted vocals.

So we got back from our annual holiday trip, and I caught RSV (or some upper respirtory virus). Between losing my voice, coughing and fatigue, I won't be filming new videos until I feel loads better.

We've got about 6 videos left in the queue - two weeks worth. IF I don't recover in time, what options would you be open to?
