Exams are coming up so I'm not gonna be active for the next month, however, I did prepare edits in advance which I'm gonna upload weekly, which one would ya'll like to see first?
So... Dragons Rising S2 Part 2 was completely leaked for a couple hours, and now it's everywhere. I feel so sorry for the people working on the show. We literally just got a teaser a couple hours before it, hype was being built up and then boom, it all crashed down cuz Peacock made a terrible mistake they can't take back.
I know we should wait till Netflix officially releases it in October, but honestly, I won't blame anyone for watching the leaks cuz of how much spoilers are on the Internet. I literally opened Instagram this morning and got spoiled for something in the final episode. But if we do watch the leaks, we should still support the actual show when it officially releases in October. And to those who plan to power through for 2-3 months, you have my utmost respect.
To the people spoiling everything by leaving comments all over the Internet or vise versa, I know you might be excited to share your thoughts, but PLEASE at the very least put a spoiler warning at the front. If it's a video, put a spoilers warning on a black screen for at least 2 seconds so people can scroll away. Don't just slap two words in a caption because that's not going to help half the time. If it's a comment, please make sure there's enough space between your spoiler warning and content so YouTube gives people the choice to read more or not. These little things can help a lot.
And for those who recorded the episodes and are sharing them online, I understand if you want to help people by giving them a chance to watch it before they're spoiled. But if you're just doing this for views and subs, then no. People worked hard on this, and their work isn't being appreciated if everyone is watching leaks from random YouTube channels or pirate websites.
It was a huge mistake on Peacock's part, and they shouldn't get off scot-free for it. Personally, I feel like Netflix should just release it early. I know some episodes aren't fully polished yet, but at least this way, the people who worked on it can get the support they fully deserve by having people stream the show genuinely. I just hope this won't be another Seabound situation where they act like nothing happened and continue marketing the show like it wasn't leaked months ago.
Been working on another Ninjago edit for a 500 special, but it's pretty long (40+ secs and no loop) and I don't have scene packs for half of the characters yet, so it's gonna take quite a while. See you in 10000 years
