Taking it back to my very first car… a 1984 Mercury Grand Marquis. 🚗
Looking back, it probably wasn’t the ideal car for a 16-year-old. This thing was the size of a small yacht! I had to use both feet at red lights just to keep it from stalling, and somehow I thought jumping railroad tracks at 50 mph was a great idea. Let’s just say the suspension disagreed, and a few hubcaps never made it home. 😂
That old beast gave me a lot of great memories, a few life lessons, and more than a couple stories that probably shouldn’t be repeated.

Back in the day, collecting Garbage Pail Kids cards was practically a childhood requirement. I found out my Garbage Pail Kids name would have been “Mark Bark”… and honestly, it fits better than I’d like to admit. 😂

To me, this was the most overhyped toy of my childhood. You’d beg your parents for one, spend 5 minutes bouncing around the driveway, then it mysteriously disappeared into the garage forever.
What toy did you absolutely have to have as a kid, only to realize it was kind of a dud? 👀
