Hi friends! Where have we been?! Well, we definitely didn't intend to take this long of a break, but there's been a lot going on.
If we're being honest, the biggest reason for our break has simply been burnout. We LOVE playing games together, and we've really loved learning to record, edit, etc. and we feel like we've improved quite a bit over the years. We make videos for fun and will continue to do so, but we can't pretend like seeing a video that takes 1-2 hours to record, 3-4 hours to edit, and time to post only get 12 views. That part isn't fun and we aren't afraid to admit it. It sucks.
But we've also been busy with a lot of work stuff. We're teachers and spring time is an incredibly busy time of year to be in a school. Just this week alone we've only been home together one night together, so what little time we have gotten honestly has just been spent trying to recover and push ourselves into the next day. We are TIRED.
Videos will absolutely be coming back soon. We miss this. And we miss those of you who comment on our videos and posts. WE WILL BE BACK. We just need to figure out what being back looks like and how we can move forward and find a good balance. Gaming needs to be fun first. It's our escape from the world. Once we find them fun again, then we can get back to the work side of it.
