Lawson

So here goes, it’s only taken us 5 years, but our third album is finally out now. When we stood on stage at the end of our gig at Islington Academy on the 25th of October 2016 we honestly didn’t know if we were ever going to be on stage together again, let alone release a new album. We were all still best mates and performing on stage together was our favourite thing in the world to do but it felt like maybe Lawson had run its course, and it was the right time to press pause. The Chapman Square reunion show in 2018 reignited something in all of us and reminded us that Lawson still mattered to a lot people out there as much as it did to us. So we decided to go again, this time with no pressure, no major label, self funding and self producing our own music and just seeing where it took us. That leads us to today ‘cmd z’ is out in the world, it took a lot longer than we had planned but it is an album we are really proud of. We hope you love it and we really can’t wait to see you singing along on our tour in October & November. Thank you for sticking with us and not forgetting about us, thank you for every ticket, every iTunes download, every CD and t-shirt that you have bought, it all means we get to carry on being those 4 idiots that started a band in 2009 for a little bit longer.
