Nick looks to see how his beloved T'au shoot their way to victory in 11th Edition while Tak tries to learn the new edition and a new army at the same time, as he plays the Death Guard. Tak returning to his Death Guard goes back to the start of 8th edition and he is excited to play the army he began painting back then.

And, we don't quite know what "Highly Narrative" means but whatever it is we are going to give it our all!

Yes, we are very very excited to be part of the Warhammer 40,000 New Edition Live Stream! Yes, T'au Nick gets to play his favourite, the T'au. Yes, we are SORRY it is not Child of Chaos Tycho going. For variety of challenges with scheduling and travel Tak is going to be playing the Death Guard (which, that was originally his army).

Our Studio Live League enters the Play Offs! (Yes, I know this is contrary to what we talked about last week but we made some mistakes with our calculations*). Semi Finals will be two high stakes single elimination games where the winners move on to face each other in one final game to win the right to put their name on the Sword of Chadocles and be the ultimate champion of the League.

Semi Final Single Elimination Game 1 sees Nick take the T'au and the aggressive Mont'ka detachment into Tak and the Ultramarines with the vaunted Blade of Ultramar detachment. youtube.com/live/ZK0cRWS47PU

Semi Final Single Elimination Game 2 will be on May 1 at 12pm PST and see Michael face JT (Factions and detachments TBD)

Championship Game will be on May 8 at 12pm PST.

*Unfortunately, we did the math on Mitchell's final games wrong and even with a win last week he had been eliminated a while ago along with Mubin, leaving JT, Michael, Tak, and Nick to enter the Semi Finals.

7 Years Ago we shot our first 40k in 30m (later evolving into 40k in 40m) at a university theatre. We knew we were embarking on a crazy journey but we didn't know how crazy.

We did this with a 5 camera set-up and that was not the norm for the tabletop gaming scene on YouTube at the time. We set out to make battle "reports" in a completely different way. Our goal was to create entertaining battles that gamers and non-gamers could enjoy. We shook up the industry. We were told that what we aimed to do was not sustainable. We had a three-month kill switch on the project. That was 7 years ago.

PS: As Tak will be away in Ontario at the end of the month and other members of the team will be at Adepticon things might be a bit quiet back for a couple weeks. (maybe).
