On my way to the UK Games Expo (currently suffering Birmingham New Street)
I'll be at the Expo from this evening till Sunday afternoon. If you spot me there, feel free to say hi and you can have a Cozy RPG Reviews Bookspark. (It's a bookmark AND a spark table - what will they think of next!)
To address the rumours: Yes, I did threaten to knock @thebadspot 's teeth out. No, I will not be making an apology video. Viewers can make up their own minds about the alleged incident here:
In case you wanted to submit any games/content creators for award consideration, there are two smaller indie awards that have submissions open for the next couple of weeks.
The CRIT Awards are open to the wider community to nominate their favourite stuff (with lots of categories including games, streams, podcasts, artists etc), and individual creators/teams can nominate their own work too:
According to my analytics, a fair few of you watch @BobWorldBuilder so you may have already seen this, but in case you haven't...
Bob is running a large-scale single-question poll for the sake of curiosity: which is your favourite TTRPG?
This will probably mostly get shared around D&D spaces, massively skewing the results, but it's an opportunity to show that other games matter. So if you have a second, pick (or write-in) your favourite game here:
Last chance to vote on the Audience Pick review. If you've supported on either patreon or ko-fi you should see a post there with the survey info.
I'll close it tonight and share the results tomorrow :)
And then we'll do it again! Remember anyone at all can recommend games for the shortlist, and once the audience pick slot is open again, the new shortlist will go to voting.
Thanks everyone so much who recommended or voted so far. There's some really cool-looking games in the running. I'm cheering one on but I won't say which ;)
Voting in the poll is a ko-fi or patreon paid member benefit. If you supported the channel on ko-fi or patreon you should be able to see the survey URL in the post on the platform you used.
Anyone can (and did) recommend games for the shortlist though :)
Hi all! The feedback survey has been so, so, so helpful and super interesting. (I had no idea Drift was so popular!)
Thank you so much everyone who took a moment to fill it out. I've been using the info so far to work on my plans for the future of this channel - the kind of stuff that feels big and exciting to me, but I imagine most people won't notice any difference ^^
There's still stuff to do, so I'll share my plans and the survey results later... maybe this weekend.
Till then, giving this a little bump for anyone who missed it and wants to add their thoughts: forms.gle/JSmUDqRikCuH5h148
Hi all! Here you go... proof that I have a face. Adrian just published a (slightly) edited down version of our chat the other day.
Thanks loads to everyone who responded to the feedback survey so far. The results are already super interesting and helpful. I'll leave it open for a while and publish the results in a couple of weeks.

The Awards is more avant garde, with no categories, and is only open for small designers to submit their own weird little games:
