I want to bring back one of the older RetroForge tracks for a moment:

This one has always been one of my personal favorites.

It’s long, especially the intro, but give it time. Let it open up slowly. The track has that heavy acid-blues feeling I keep coming back to: fuzz guitar, smoky organ, deep bass, shadowed drums, and those lyrics that feel like memory, inheritance, and old water pulling everything back under.

I still play this one out loud all the time.

After a few requests, I’ve added 320 kbps MP3 files to the older Ko-fi album downloads alongside the WAV files.

The albums now include WAV files for high-quality listening and archiving, plus 320 kbps MP3 files for easier playback on phones, cars, and everyday devices.

If you bought one of the updated albums before, you should be able to download it again from Ko-fi and get the new MP3 files as well.

Tonight we updated the RetroForge Records banner. 📀

What started as a few strange experiments with vintage sound has slowly turned into an entire shelf of worlds, memories, tape hiss, forgotten highways, collapsing cities, psychedelic gardens, desert prophets, midnight blues, and analog dreams.

Some albums exploded far beyond anything we expected.
Some quietly found the right people.
Some were weird risks that somehow worked anyway.

Progressive rock.
Psychedelia.
Swamp blues.
Proto-doom.
Instrumental space journeys.
Even a few strange transmissions still waiting to be released… 👀

A couple of the records hidden on the new banner haven’t actually appeared on the channel yet.

So first of all:
thank you for being part of this growing archive.
Seriously. Every listen, comment, translation, theory, memory, and late-night discussion helped shape this place into what it is becoming.

And now we’re curious:

I spend a lot of time reading and replying to your comments, honestly one of my favorite parts of this.

The only issue is YouTube doesn’t always notify me when someone replies, so I’m constantly scrolling back through older posts trying to catch them.

If I missed yours, it wasn’t on purpose. Just the system hiding things.
