I am retired, have many hobbies, and am a maker of many things.
I love to garden, and photograph the things I grow. I also knit, do cross- stitch, sew, and teach piano.

The garden is starting to give us some delicious meal options. Such as this roasted chicken salad we had for dinner last evening! Lettuce , kale, sweet pepper, green onion, garlic chives, tomato and of course roasted chicken.

With a slice of garlic toast- such a perfect summer dinner!

Dear Friends,
I am going to take a break from recording videos for a few weeks. All is well- I am just feeling the need to take a restorative break to enjoy the season, my beautiful surroundings, and to spend quality time with those I love.

You might see a few shots now and again of my beautiful gardens, such as this first bloom of the Yukon Gold rose, I planted a couple of years ago in memory of my brother Wayne.

I just finished stitching this weeks word, which was elegant. This was an easy one for me. This is a design I used to make on mug rugs- I called it the Ladies of Summer! There were 5 different hat styles. This one always was a favourite. Chip contributed towards this week’s creation. She is moulting at the moment so was happy to share for my elegant lady of summer!
