This wasn't something I was planning to do, but my accelerated summer classes start on June 15th, and if I'm being honest, I'm already feeling a little overwhelmed trying to prepare for everything. Between work, school, content creation, and life, I need to give myself the space to set myself up for success rather than trying to push through and risk burning myself out.
I know many of you understand the importance of taking care of yourself, and I appreciate that more than you know. 🤎
As of right now, I anticipate my first video back being a weekly vlog on July 4th, and I'd also like to get my July TBR posted that week as well.
I'm still figuring out what short-form content will look like during this break. I may continue posting occasionally, or I may take a step back there too. We'll see what feels manageable.
The one thing that isn't changing is Sunday Reading Sprints. 📖✨ Those will still be happening because, honestly, I need that reading time with all of you. It's one of my favorite parts of the week, and I look forward to spending those cozy reading hours together.
Thank you all for your support, patience, and understanding. I'll still be around, just shifting my focus for a few weeks so I can give my classes the attention they deserve.

I wanted to let you all know there won’t be Sunday reading sprints tomorrow. Since it’s Mother’s Day, I’ve realized I need to give myself a little extra space and grace this year.
Most years I can move through this holiday pretty okay, but this time around I’m struggling a bit more while coming to terms with the fact that I likely won’t be able to have a child naturally. Years ago I experienced a later-term miscarriage, and I think where I am emotionally now has shifted my grief into mourning not only the loss itself, but also the “what could have been.”
I don’t say this for pity at all, just honesty. I know so many people carry complicated feelings around this holiday, and I wanted to acknowledge that openly instead of disappearing for the day.
I hope everyone celebrating has a beautiful Mother’s Day, and I’m also sending love to anyone grieving, longing, struggling, healing, or simply trying to get through the weekend quietly 🤍
I *am* currently editing the April book haul video though, so that will be going up tomorrow instead of sprints 📚✨ Thank you all for always being so understanding and kind. It genuinely means a lot to me.
The full interview with J.D. Myall will be going up tomorrow, BUT the footage is in TikTok orientation, so just be prepared for the vertical-video vibes on YouTube 😂 honestly the conversation was too fun not to share in full, so we’re embracing it.
Also… I fear my May TBR might be getting thrown out the window 🫣 I can feel myself slowly slipping toward a reading slump, and I refuse to let it take me down this early lol. I did start The Space Between Worlds and I’m really enjoying it, so I’ll definitely be finishing that one. But outside of that… other books are calling to me and I think I need to follow the mood-reader instincts before they disappear completely 💀 So if the next few reading updates feel chaotic and unplanned… mind your business and support me during this difficult time 😂🕯️📖

My “D12 decides my weekend” video turned into a 48 minute adventure. Apparently letting dice decide if I read or game creates a lot of chaos. It took me about 4 hours to edit, but I’m really happy with how it came together and I hope you enjoy the ride.
