Ritaj Rihan was nine years old. She was sitting in a classroom set up in a tent in northern Gaza, about two kilometers from the yellow line, when Israeli forces shot her three times, killing her instantly.

She was not near a military target. She was not in a combat zone. She was in a classroom. The Israeli army’s continuous fire along the yellow line, presented to the world as a security measure, reached a nine-year-old girl in her classroom and ended her life in seconds. The words on the page were “orange,” “banana,” and “apple.” Another photo shows her solving subtraction problems. She was killed in front of her teacher and classmates, leaving behind only these unfinished lessons and profound grief and trauma for her family and friends.

Gigi Hadid is speaking out about the Epstein files recently released by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), in which she is mentioned by name.

In a December 2015 email exchange included in the documents viewed by E! News, a redacted individual asked the disgraced financier about Gigi and sister Bella Hadid's professional success, writing, "How did the Hadid sisters became models and make so much money?! I don't understand... After Epstein replied, "You know," the individual wrote back, "The father paid the agency," to which the late sex offender simply responded, "No." Later in the exchange, he added, "Because they follow directions, its that simple."

When a social media user commented on Hadid's March 29 Instagram post that they "had to unfollow" her because she "ain't talk bout those files," she replied that the documents "made me sick to my stomach.

Palestinian activist Leqaa Kordia was recently freed after spending more than a year in an ICE jail, the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas. She was arrested in March of 2025 as part of the Trump administration’s campaign targeting student activists and other activists who advocated for Palestinian rights. Leqaa, who grew up in the occupied West Bank, now lives in New Jersey.
