Unfortunately I’ve got a really big day at my day job today so I’m not going to be able to Deadline Stream this afternoon

So something pretty cool happened today - we hit 20,000 subscribers on the Golden Goal Channel!

Ive said this before, but if you told me 5 years ago that I’d be a YouTuber for part of my living I’d have laughed at you. But here we are!

I look at two things that have been absolutely key to this - the support of others such as Sam for getting Golden Goal off the ground with me as a 2 man podcast back in 2021. @FPLTom who has been on this FPL journey with me all the way and has now become a business partner, and my mate Ben, a phenomenal entrepreneur in his own right for his constant help and support… and of course all of you who watch, some of whom have been here from basically day 1 and still watch to this day. I will take the level of gratitude I have for all of this to my grave.

Then there is me - not one for patting myself on the back but I’ve worked harder on this channel than anything else in my life so far (Been telling myself I need to celebrate these moments a bit more)

Over 1,000 videos in, waking up early every morning before work to do graphics and record, giving up weekends etc… a good portion of which I did with absolutely no reward for a long time. Balancing a full time job, family, relationships, and competitive swimming. All of which now feels totally worth it.

All that’s left to say is if you have a nagging urge to look into a side hustle or a new hobby. Just start it, don’t think too much. Hopefully my example serves of proof that you can make something of it if you stay consistent, and enjoy what you do 😊

Golden Goal Fantasy Football

Did something pretty cool this morning - my 1,000th upload on the Golden Goal YouTube channel!

What started as a low rent podcast I did in my bedroom in Yeovil with my mate Sam has turned into a key part of my life that I now work on every day

If you told me 4 years ago I’d be making YouTube videos for part of my living I would never have believed you

I’ve learned lessons that will last a lifetime, including just how much time, effort and sacrifice it takes to get a new venture off the ground… waking up before work to make most of those videos and giving up large portions of my weekends, all of which have felt totally worth it

Of course it wouldn’t have been possible without all of the support I received over those years… some of my very first viewers still watch and interact today which I am very grateful for as well as the many friends I’ve met along the way too

Here’s to 1000 more!

Well here we are - #FPL eve!



I won't lie I'm very much looking forward to the game kicking off now (and a bit of a break)



Proud to say that I have made a video every day since the game came out... even branched into shorts/reels/tik toks too!



I've done this alongside a full time job and another YouTube channel I started -
@TheRobinsNestBCFC so it has been a hectic month... but I wouldn't have it any other way!


Making content gives me a real sense of purpose, and reason to get out of bed in the morning... and I am so grateful for the people that watch it!



I will be LIVE at 1pm tomorrow for as long as my voice allows for a deadline stream
