As this year draws to a close, I would like to sincerely thank you for your interest in my photographic work. I wish you all the best for 2026, especially good health and many wonderful moments in your life. I hope to continue inspiring you with my photographic subjects and ideas. Warm regards, Monika
If you compare this image in black and white and in color, which do you like better? My title for the color photo is "June and Flowers." Personally, I think the meaning of the title for this particular subject is lost in the black and white version.
"Rain and Coats" is the title I gave this picture. Do you think that a title is too binding and thus restricts or limits one's own interpretation in this type of photographs (ICM)? Feel free to write a comment because I am interested in your opinion.
It was such a coincidence that I was able to capture this unique motif on camera. I hope you can clearly see that the colors of the flower painting match those of the lady's clothes and hairstyle. It still baffles me that I found myself in the same exhibition space at the same moment that day with this woman I had never seen before. For me the photo is a gift of the coincidence.
In this cropped photo, it seems as if the young woman saw me at that moment of the snapshot. But I don't think so because of the distance between her and me. So please compare the cropped version with the original image size. It's hard to find her in the midst of the surroundings. Did you manage it without using a magnifying glass? ;-)
Here's an example of converting a color photo to a black and white version. Is it a question of the individual aesthetic sense of art, which of the two is preferred? In this case, I personally can hardly decide which of the two pictures I prefer. Feel free to give your opinion.
It looks like a double exposure, but it's not. Do you think that this photo, which was taken while looking into the window pane, contains too much visual information and is therefore rather too restless for your observing eye?
